The Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME) invites you to our 2024 Annual Meeting, March 10-13 in San Diego, CA.

This year’s annual meeting will address the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI); how CPD/CE can impact the climate crisis; the influence of power and privilege on academic medicine; and best practices for our organizations and our learners to address complex care needs in under-resourced settings, including migrant, refugee, and displaced communities.

Through research and best practices sessions learn from CPD/CE colleagues who’ve developed innovative strategies, including interprofessional and team-based education, working in the evolving CPD/CE environment using data driven CPD, and incorporating quality improvement and patient safety.

We look forward to an interactive, stimulating program that will provide opportunities for professional development, networking, and scholarly interactions.

Registration Rates

*Workshops are only available in person to conference registrants and are scheduled on Sunday, March 10. Sorry, no virtual offerings are available. Workshop registration is optional and you can select up to two included in your registration fee. Workshops have limited availability. If a workshop is full, you can either select to be added to the waitlist or choose another workshop. Morning workshops will take place from 9:00-11:00 am and afternoon workshops from 1:00-3:00 pm local time. Due to the limited amount of workshop spaces, if you register for a workshop and fail to attend, your credit card will be charged a no-show fee of $50.00.
