Building Leadership Capacity and Engaging Learners through Action Learning Projects

This workshop will demonstrate an approach to facilitating CPD projects/learning groups, based on insights from projects designed to improve leadership capacity and team- based quality improvement (QI) skills. Participants will learn how to create their own version of an action learning project which could be designed and implemented either individually or as a group and that is transferrable to other, similar educational contexts. During the workshop, there will be interactive activities, including whole-group segments and breakout sessions. The target learners for this workshop include CPD professionals who are involved in designing, developing, planning, and implementing CPD activities that build leadership capacity around QI projects.
